Not to flog the proverbial dead equine, but this is exactly why the Technet
program was so useful.  Your admin could have played, tweaked, broken,
fixed, re-broken and re-fixed to his heart's content if he had Technet
licenses available to learn with.  Some of the configuration in CRM is,
shall we say, not intuitive, and much needed installation and configuration
documentation is non-existent.  (At least is wasn't there when we went with
CRM 2011.)
