Join.me is made by Logmein as well. I don't think it's free anymore (but older accounts might be grandfathered, it's not clear).

I can't emphasize enough about the quality of Teamviewer. It's part of GFI, run out of Germany. Superb product, does not need a hole punched in the firewall to work. Recommendations? I have used join.me <http://join.me> as well and I like it. I think it might be possible to even set it as RDP over SSL, but it's been years since I looked at that. For the others, tho, I would really need it to be remote control so that the other party can watch what I am doing. And that they wouldn't need to open ports on a router, etc. I will look into join.em, thanks. > > > On 21 January 2014 14:03, Michael Leone <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: >> >> Got this notice today: >> >> As of January 21, 2014, LogMeIn Free will no longer be available. >> >> Came as news to me, I hadn't heard ahead of time that they were going >> to discontinue this service.
