gotcha, but its not realistic to think that a public kiosk or hotel, or
university pc will allow a usb boot-

for the most part , it will be a home pc, and /or home laptop that will
actually allow a USB boot-

but I got the point

thanks

Yes, so it’s not “anytime, anywhere” - it’s the specific corporate PCs you have
covered with SA, and the home PCs of the main users
 of those corporate machines.

It doesn’t cover, for example, booting WTG on a kiosk PC in some hotel or
internet café.

To Go use rights under
Software Assurance, an employee will be able to use Windows To Go on any
company PC licensed with Software Assurance as well as from their home PC.

(SA is included on all products acquired under the donation program)

How did you come to that conclusion. That’s not what those links say at all…

so if i understand /read it clearly it is an unlimited license per user, that
can be used anywhere , anytime (provided USB boot exists, and the system meets
 the requirements)

This is a huge advantage then, as with previous versions of "donated" MS OS
software I was legally bound to an upgrade tied to ONE computer running a
previous vesion of windows (Finally cutting some slack to us )

thanks

So as an ngo we can get w8 Enterprise at a substantial discount, the question i
have is with respect to the license/activation , is it tied to the usb drive?

If i have i have 50 w8 Enterprise WTG drives, can they be used on any computers?

the webcast i reviewed did not go into the licensing aspect, does anyone have
this in production? or have any relevant/ pertinent info??
