Hi all,

We have been using RDweb apps for a while internally, the users have the
"APP_Name.RDP" shortcuts on their desktops and run the apps they need.

Today I was testing and decided , le me try to run it directly from the
server's webpage https://RDServer/rdweb
after logging on successfully, i realized nothing was displayed in either the
RemoteApp Programs tab or the Remote Desktop tab.

Now under the Configuration tab. I see localhost, and when I hit apply I get
the error

Access to the path 'C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\App_Data\RDWebAccess.Config' is denied.

and whether i enter the netbios, fqdn, or ipAddress it still gives that error.

Its a 2008r2 server-

Note: the apps continue to work and there are no errors, and I'm 99.9999% sure
they were visible last year when I initially deployed the server.

Any thoughts?

thanks
