Are these servers behind a load balancer of some sort (hardware or software)?

I only have RD WebAccess 2.0. Why do you have two versions under Application Pools? Start with V 2.0 under Advanced Settings, Process Model, Identity document what it is running under now then change it to domain\administrator. Do this at your own risk. Like I said, you're beyond my pay grade. I recently worked with PSS because I was having issues of intermittent disappearing icons in RD Web Access and the identity account was one things they had me change. ----- Original Message ----- From: "J- P" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, May 2, 2014 2:03:25 PM Subject: RE: Update [NTSysADM] RDweb apps not displayed I was looking and noticed there are 2 ASP.NET v4.0 RDWebAccess v4.0 RDWebAccess v2.0 and they are both set to ApplicationPoolIdentiy My options are; LocalService LocalSystem NetowrkService ApplicationPoolIdentity. Please note that I am by no means an expert in this area but if the account isn't valid or the password for that account has been changed it may create your issue. From: "J- P" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, May 1, 2014 7:41:10 PM Subject: [NTSysADM] RDweb apps not displayed Hi all, We have been using RDweb apps for a while internally, the users have the "APP_Name.RDP" shortcuts on their desktops and run the apps they need. Today I was testing and decided , le me try to run it directly from the server's webpage https://RDServer/rdweb after logging on successfully, i realized nothing was displayed in either the RemoteApp Programs tab or the Remote Desktop tab. Now under the Configuration tab. I see localhost, and when I hit apply I get the error Access to the path 'C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\App_Data\RDWebAccess.Config' is denied. and whether i enter the netbios, fqdn, or ipAddress it still gives that error. Its a 2008r2 server- Note: the apps continue to work and there are no errors, and I'm 99.9999% sure they were visible last year when I initially deployed the server. Any thoughts? thanks
