It looks like 1722 is an RPC issue, so what I may do is copy the install file locally and retry the install tomorrow. Dave

Hi David,
Just a heads up that we will run the clients in “Monitor Mode” for 5-7 business days before we can put these clients into Protected Mode. The reason for this is so that we can observe any executables that will not be seen at the time of the initial installation because they only appear at run time or the user may run some applications from a network share or there may be some programs that self update but that are not part of our Filter Set Library. So, realistically, if you install the clients this weekend, it will be the week of June 16th before we can move the clients into Protected Mode. Prior to that we will schedule a support session with you to provide an overview of the management console (Savant Enforcer Manager) and at that time move the clients to the goal mode.

I will install this on a couple machine over the weekend and have the test users try it out starting next week. Keep in mind for this client I am generally only available after 3PM Pacific time as I have a “normal” day job in addition to supporting the client that will be trying out his application.
I am looking forward to this trial and if it works out, it’s conceivable I could recommend it to my full time job as well (I am IT support by day as well).

The Savant Enforcer trial consists of two steps. Step 1 is the client installation followed by a brief period of additional data gathering which assures that Savant Enforcer will protect your system from unknown malware while maintaining the proper operation of the endpoint.
Step 2, which occurs 5-7 business days following the client installation and connection to the SEM, consists of a Product Support web meeting where we will guide you through access to and operation of the Savant Enforcer Manager (SEM).
