Very simply, no. It's not in the standard install.

There is a GPO add-in for Firefox but it is not kept up-to-date with the latest
versions, and it is trivially bypassed (ie the user can disable the addin).

I do know there are ways to configure Firefox to use the system proxy settings,
but none of the Mozilla-supported procedures follow platform standards... on
any of the platforms Firefox runs on.

Can't you do it via Registry in Group Policy Preferences?
Despatched via Blackberry. Mock if you will, but it gets my email without a
fuss.

Subject: [NTSysADM] Pushing proxy for Firefox

Our organization is moving towards using a proxy for internet browsing.
Trouble is, we allow multiple browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox). Chrome is
easy since it uses the settings from IE, and IE has GPO settings I can use.
But Firefox doesn't. I've found a couple of tools on the internet, but was
wondering if anyone here had hands-on experience doing this already, and had a
preferred method they'd like to share.

Thanks,

Joe Heaton
