Perhaps a hybrid solution is the best bet? "Cloud" backups for user data, i.e., the stuff that's really important and/or changes frequently. Gets you up-to-the-hour backups of everything important, and easy selective restores. Occasional images of the entire system to an external hard disk. Gets you the ability to restore a system quickly in the event of dire disasters; then the "cloud" can restore the rest. I'm not sure how to go about managing the system images. Are end-users responsible for their own system administration? And if the answer is "yes", does that mean really responsible, i.e., they'll be fired if they do it wrong, or do you mean they're the ones doing it but they're not responsible? :) -- Ben
