Yeah but he had a bunch of engineers helping him not a kid playing. I know I did land it once with the original card but it took me a couple of tries. I don't think I had any left over. That was when I decided to read through the programming logic and found to fuel value. It was so much easier then. Pretty sure that half the fuel does not have a possible solution. J I can do it with 1/6 fuel left (but I’ve never calculated the optimum). And I have to say – it took me dozens of times to figure out how to do it without crashing. Neil did it the first time – in real time – and got it right. Damn impressive. I had a TI59 with a card reader that had that game on it. I had fun "challenging" others to take off and land the craft. It was real fun to take half the fuel from them. I had 3 cards. One for others (like I said half the fuel), one for me (12x the fuel, I think it was), and the original card. I made it look easy with all the fuel....so much fun having the kids with better grades crash and burn.
