And I JUST noticed they are pointing to the 64 bit version, which is probably
why we haven't seen it here-still deploying 32 bit at this time.

Sorry, to answer your question last time I saw it was on 67. Didn't see it on
71.

See it randomly every update from 7 11 up. You can reg delete the key and it
will be fine. I just let the techs do it manually ....it's usually less than 6
per 3000.

Which version are you seeing this issue with, 7u71 or 7u72? Trying to search
to see if we're going to run into this, but all I'm finding is hits from 2013
and earlier on this error.

Thanks,
Bonnie

You are going to get a pop up that says: c:\Program
Files\Java\jre7\bin\\installer.dll .....can't be found"

Note the double back whack. I hate Java.

Did you also update Java via GPO around the same time? Check and see if it
updated, there is a nasty path bug that is leaving a dialog box you can't see
on boot.....manually update Java if it is just a few machines.

I have a few W8.1 systems that now take about 1 hour to re-boot just sitting at
the "Please Wait" screen.
Did some Googling did not get really any results, nothing in the event viewers.
Tried to do a System Restore it failed. I tried to turn off the Hibernation
file, still no go.

Probably going to open a ticket with Microsoft but figured maybe some of you
have any ideas?

Thanks

Stefan
