Then you're doing it wrong. After the end of a SAM audit you should receive a certificate that states you can't be audit for a period not less than 24 months if you agree to yearly true-ups. If you haven't gotten one of these in the past make sure your legal department insists on one at the end of this audit. Also if you're unable to qualify for an EA due to size, then a company wide select agreement may be more appropriate.
