I normally don't like these types of migration programs. I prefer copying
documents, desktop, etc. or using folder redirection and starting with an
otherwise clean profile.

It is perhaps true that they have “wrapped” built-in, or Microsoft provided,
capabilities into a somewhat-easier-to-use package. However, I do not see
anything that they have done which is not available as a
part of XP-Mode on Win7 or included as a part of USMT included in MDT.

I do not minimize easier-to-use. But if you are doing large-scale migrations,
their package seems to require more touches than MDT, based only on what I see
on the website.

Hi all,

Looking for some feedback on this application and wondering if anyone here has
used it. It says it can transfer your everything, including applications to a
new machine.

I’m looking at an XP to 7 migration and wondering if this is too good to be
true.

I’m looking at their WinWin, or Migration Kit Pro programs.

Thanks!
Neil
