OS 2012r1
So this one really has me stumped, i'm troubleshooting an app and it says check
the key in HKLM\Software\wow6432node
So I open the registry and the the ENTIRE WOW6432 IS MISSING, so i go the
second server, also a 2012r1 installed from the same media at the same time,
sure enough , as expected the key is there.
So I decide , lets try cross connecting to the registries via remote and these
are the results
>From the server with the full registry HKLM\SW\6432 , if I connect to the
>server where its missing, it does show the HKLM\6432 key and subkeys.
However, from the server with the missing/hidden 6432 , if I connect to any
other server it does NOT show the HKLM\6432 .
So it seems like the view is being somehow "filtered" , has anyone every seen
such a thing?
