So I booted from the dell OMSA Livecd, & the good news is that OM shows the
raid online, CentOs see's the drives, but I cannot mount them , can't even
mount the external for that matter (but that's a linux issue i'm sure) as it
says exit code 32
unknown filesystem type "NTFS"

I called dell but they said I had to wait till Monday to speak to a tech.

Ideally I would like to attempt a repair on the OS, as i don't want to move 3
tb back and fourth, nor do I want to pull that down over the wire.

It looks like I may be the first one to BITE the new MS 499.00 bullet :(

Oh wait , it appears I can get to the command promt , but I dont have the local
admin password ( I normally login to the host with my domain accout)

There is someone that has it who I can get it from in the morning.

On a seperate note, is a "startup repair" run from the installation disc, any
different than the built in one I get from my "choose an option"?

Should I insert the boot disc and try to repair from there?
