Thanks for the tips everyone.  I can't remember offhand which software we
are currently using for other USB over network needs, but it has been very
good for a number of years now.  I will go that route for this application
as well.  I just read about Hyper-V 2012 R2's new feature and hoped it
would obviate the need for a 3rd party solution.  Oh well.
