Bingo, Central Store on sysvol not updated in a while it appears. That was exciting, lots of blown up policies for a while as I updated them. Almost makes me want to revisit my testing issue from yesterday with the right policies in place. Almost.

Where are you pulling your adm/admx templates from? Do you have a central policy store set up? When was the last time you updated GP template files (and have you pulled the latest ones from IE 11 & WS12 R2/Win8.1)? -Bonnie From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Charles F Sullivan Sent: Friday, January 23, 2015 8:49 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [NTSysADM] Missing gpo setting? Whether I’m on Window 8.1 or Windows 7 with IE 11, I get a much different list than you and it includes the setting regardless of which machine I’m on: [cid:[email protected]] You could check the “All Settings” node, but I’m guessing it won’t be there. We do not have the ADMX files copied to our domain sysvol. Do you? I suppose they could be outdated if you do have them in sysvol. So I am looking for “Notify users if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser selection” Under Users/ADM Temp/Windows Compontents/Internet Explorer. Not there on an 8.1 box with 11, or a 2008R2 with 11. Domain is 2008R2. Any guesses where it went? [cid:[email protected]]
