Unfortunately she did already try that. From talking, it was working just
prior to the updates in November, although to be fair, we were a few months
behind with workstations, so it could have been any number of them in between
from Sep to Nov.

I also found a dll (adprop.dll) that I tried re-registering, but that hasn’t
helped either—I went to c:\windows\system32 and added the field to the explorer
view for “File description”—If anyone sees any others that are promising,
please point them out. But, at this point, I’m going to ask if we can upgrade
her to 1607, since we’re headed there anyway soon and my working workstations
already have the upgrade.

Uninstall/reinstall the RSAT tools?

Hmm.. I don’t know exactly when it started, but I’ll ask—it was working at one
point since September. We haven’t pushed updates yet to workstations this
month, but did through last month. The machine is fairly new, since June or
August, a Surface pro 4.

Mini Me has the same issue. He and I have been unable to figure it out. Fine
for me on two Win 10 machines, fine for his old Win 10 box but not on his new
one.

What is really odd is my desktop, his old desktop and his new desktop all used
the same base image…then got the same updates from our WSUS server. But the new
desktop is exactly as you describe.

Subject: [NTSysADM] Missing tabs in Win10 ADUC

I have a tech person who is missing several tabs in ADU&C on her computer when
she looks at user account on her Win10 (still 1511 plus updates) machine. I’m
finding a lot of hits online about which dll to reregister if missing the
RDS/TS related tabs, but that’s not what is missing here, its: General,
Address, Account, Profile, Telephones, Organization, Published Certificates,
Member Of, Password Replication, and Dial-in. Here’s what it looks like from
her machine:

Has anyone seen this and might know which dll or dlls to reregister? She’s
already tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the RSAT and I’ve verified it
works fine on another Win10 machine with identical permissions. She uses a lot
of custom software so I’d like to avoid reimaging, if possible.

Thanks,
Bonnie
