In the past, I've just re-added the domain I deleted and all of the records
will come back.

You are welcome.. It normally does not update the server files unless
you tell it to, or wait a good bit.

Stop the service and restart it. The files should have not been updated
yet..

I accidentally deleted one of our DNS entries from our DNS manager.  Is
there an easy way to restore it?  Maybe from tape?  NT 4.0 server with
SP 6a.
