Even
going back to the old 3's and 3SI's you could set the IP from the panel of HP
printers. (With HP and Pacific Data I/O cards at least) Lets see, I/O menu,
config network to yes, config tcpip to yes, IP gateway and mask...
I
created a range of IPs for printers only and reserve each one. The last time the
LAN's IP range was subnetted is the last time I walk around to each printer
and config via panel.
I
think I need to get out more, think webjetadmin would work through a web enabled
cell phone?
