You are looking for COM port redirection which is not a feature with
vanilla terminal services. You need a 3rd party product such as Citrix or
NCD ThinPATH plus,

Please respond
to "NT System
Admin Issues"
Situation: NT 4.0 Wks SP5 at remote location dialing into Corp Network via
NT 4 RAS.
Have a device attached to Serial port on Wks.
If I RAS in and launch a Terminal Server session (Win2k SP2 TS) can I run
an
application that will connect to my local serial port in order to transfer
very small amount of data?
-Thanks
