MMC remotely

I have workstation (W2KPRO) in a Win2K domain which I have installed the
administration tools on.
Every now and then they do not want to load.
I get error that the server is unavailable. (when it truely is)
It is intermittent so I have not gathered all of the facts yet.

Has anyone dealt with this and what were your problems?
