What DNS server have you set the workstation to use. If you do not have
an AD server set in there you will get connection problems. I have had a
few problems (not many) with W2K Admin, and they seem to always boil
down to DNS.

I had this problem with a W2K DC that also doubled as a RRAS router with
NAT.  Once I stopped the RRAS service I could connect fine.  Not sure if
this is your problem.
