It was a wonderful excuse to upgrade to Win2K!  Since the priority of the
user was his photos.  This was a while back (6 months or so).  The guy
didn't want to upgrade to Win2K, but he wanted to use his firewire for his
camera.  I tried the drivers and no-go so I told him he had to upgrade to
Win2K :-)  Hey, it works for me....

Thank you, I apologize for giving wrong info.  All the stuff I tried with
Firewire all said they didn't work with NT.

Yes, it does. I used a Studio DV PCI Firewire card with my Sony miniDV
camera on NT 4 very successfully. It worked with both StudioDV and Adobe
Premier.
