Warning: If you want disk mirroring (or any software RAID under W2K) you HAVE to use dynamic disks, and once they're dynamic there's NO going back.  Your familiar disk utilities may no longer work, and you have now forsaken partitions for volumes.  Good luck. ;) Fire up Computer Management (from Administrative Tools, or right-click on My Computer and pick Manage), and click on Disk Management.  In turn, right click on the hard drives you want to mirror and select "Upgrade to Dynamic Disk...".  Once your disks are dynamic, right click on the simple volume you want to mirror, select "Add Mirror..." and follow the wizard.  Remember that you can only mirror simple volumes, not a spanned volume or similar.
