A quick google found this: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1264420&tstart=0 and at the very end a user reports success with this: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306840 but it's for 10.5 - so not sure if it would work with 10.4 You can always re-install the OS with an Archive and Install (esp. if you try the above and it doesn't work). It's actually a pretty cool feature of Mac OS: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107120 if you pick the "Preserve user and network settings" option about the only thing you have to put back after an archive and install are printer drivers. For a complete system re-install, it's fairly non-intrusive. If you forget to check the preserve users setting: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107297 It's so non-destructive to your Mac that it's my default install for whenever I upgrade to a new version of Mac OS. Re-installing my printers is a small price for having a clean OS install. You may have to re-install the Xraid software too - so have that ready. I just checked with one of our resident Mac guru's and he didn't have anything to really add to the above since we haven't encountered your issue (although it looks like others have too). I did confirm with him, since I don't play with server that much, that an Archive and Install will preserve the user accounts on server just like it does on the desktop versions.
