Does Salesforce.com meet their needs? I know of a couple companies going that route after trying MS CRM or their competitors.

We actually bought MS-CRM 2 a couple of years ago and it wasn't good and we dumped it. I now have an offsite client, small financial firm, who is thinking about going to a hosted CRM 4 product. Anyone have input on this? Are there reasonable, better alternatives?
