In that case, .50 cal would be spectacular, make sure to get video of it
:-)

Interesting, I have a client that has all Dell 370 and 380 workstations
and XP, I'll keep my eye on them if we upgrade them to Vista.

I *did* have a bitch of a time getting Vista audio to work on my Dell
521 (the audio service refused to start), enough so that I punted and
re-OS'd (bought a different HDD, long story). This was after trying the
recommended Dell fixes and even buying a Soundblaster card and it still
wouldn't work. New HDD (also now conveniently dual boot XP / Vista) and
I now have sound on the same hardware / software that didn't work
previously. Weird.

I *HATE* re-OS to "fix" something, but sometimes it's just quicker than
troubleshooting an issue if you don't have a situation where the same
problem might happen to 50 machines, so I understand "backtracking" to
XP in some circumstances.

Well, those are certainly good practices. However, on the Dell
PowerWorkStation 380 I had available, there never ever was a point where

it worked (to where I could "roll back").
