It's usually listed under "Print languages" on the Specifications page
of each printer.

The 2600 series is very explicitly host-based.  Usually they don't say
"host-based"; HP's marketing term for their host-based protocol is
"JetReady", something I picked up while looking at their low-end
monochrome lasers.
