There is supposed to be a new Technical Guide coming out by Ron Ogelsby for VMware 3.x soon, but no ISBN or date has been published.
If you want a good guide for the guts of 2.5X pick up the Vmware ESX Server, Advanced Technical Guide ( Oglesby/Herold) ISBN 0971151067. Z ________________________________ From: Joseph L. There are few common books that come up often there. I've been fairly successful this far just working my way through questions and problems that have come up and we have 5 production VM's running. Now we are about to go much deeper with multiple hosts, SAN for storage, vmotion etc. and I'm looking for book suggestions. Anyone have a book they have read or are using as a reference they like? One that looks good to me is "VMware ESX Server in the Enterprise: Planning and Securing Virtualization Servers" by Edward L. Haletky Any comments on it?
