I've certainly thought about, my concerns:
1. It would be a little tougher for techs. It shouldn't be, but I just
know it will. They are independent; roughly 5000 of them. They shouldn't
have to install something in order to send us pics/workorders/etc.
2. Organization. There is no way to be able to sort the mass amounts of
docs we receive every day. With something YouSendIt-ish that is email
based, the submitter is forced to create a useful description, making it
easier for us to determine the tech name, project, and site.

We do have a really sleek Project Database that my wonderful developer has
created, and it allows uploads, and automatically files them for each
tech/project/site. However, you can only upload 1 file at a time. Ideally,
we need to create a Java-like interface to upload multiple files at once.
I've seen many pre-made solutions for this that would work great.

Thanks for chiming in with the advice, it's always welcome.

Sam

For your own field techs, why not just an (S)FTP server?

I mean, I can understand the need for pretty web GUIs when interfacing
with the general public, but presumably you can just give your own people a
canned Filezilla config or something along those lines.
