Well.considering the future of InTune, and the depth of features Microsoft has in System Center, I suspect InTune will be really good soon.
Plus, the Dell folks kind of wince when you mention the Kbox. Configuration Manager is used extensively within Dell. It would have to be really good to replace KBox here, though. >>> "Rod Trent" <[email protected]> 8/8/2011 12:04 PM >>> Do you think something like InTune could replace Kbox eventually? It's saved us sooo much time. Very similar features to SCCM. Actually we had SCCM but I replaced it with KBox. It's an "appliance", so upgrades and backups are super easy, too. Not trying to bash SCCM. That's a good product too, but I don't have staff to dedicate to it, like it really needs. We manage about 1,000 PCs/servers with it. It can manage Mac and iPods if you want, and does Dell updates. We currently use the Bigfix product for this, but since the IBM acquisition we are looking to see what else is available. After seeing a demo of Kace last week it looks promising. So has anyone here moved from Bigfix to Kace. If not, anyone have any experience with Kace to give some insight.
