Yes.

The client didn't have any issues with Windows systems including Windows 2000
Server; but many UNIX/Linux based systems suddenly couldn't authenticate and
they had to scramble to update SAMBA and JAVA to more recent versions. (We had
announced the upgrade a month ahead of time to all of the enterprise, so they
had no excuse; but they simply hadn't tested.)

Subject: Windows 2K8 native upgrade

Hi,

Has anyone on this list gone native with Win2k8R2 while having apps still
hosted on Windows 2000 SP4 servers? Any issues identified during that upgrade?

Appreciate the responses..

Thanks,
