Well, sometimes those apps are just not on the radar. I must admit, my recent upgrade to Win2k8 R2 DCs at HQ has caused real problems with an ancient (~10 years old) version MKS Source Integrity running on NT4.
All was well until it tried to auth against a Win2k8 R2 DC after reboot. AD is still running at Win2k3 R2, but the NT4 box isn't finding the Win2k3 R2 DC that's left in the site. I have a suspicion that if I could get it to auth against that I could get them access to the data so that they could migrate it off to their SVN server. The app (MSK SI) is based on Java, but I'm guessing that it just doesn't know how to deal with the new environment, and the keepers of the app don't know how to make it speak LDAP, though it's supposed to be able to do so.
