In contrast, my career has been in smaller shops (so far), and I don't know those products from XCOPY. As Ken alludes to, job duties vary. In small places, you generally need to know a little about a lot. You have to wear many hats; the environment demands it. In a big organization, you'll have people who work in the same area all the time, just as a matter of efficiency. That also affords them the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge. Which is good, because larger orgs tend to face problems of scale which don't trouble smaller shops. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
