Did you get the syntax right? I think you have to specify the servername in the
original command: mstsc /v:servername /console

Subject: Console Logon via RDP

I have a specfic need to connect to a server via RDP but connect to it on the
console session. I Googled for it and came up with the switches that should
allow this

I tried both mstsc.exe /console to a Win 2003 server and mstsc.exe /admin to a
Win 2008 server from my Win7 Ultimate machine and in neither case does it
attach me to the console.

Does this work and if so what am I missing?
