By and of itself, that's neither good nor bad. It means your SharePoint servers will be under increased load. You'll have to be able to support that, with hardware resources, backup resources, admin staff, etc. If you're not already planning for that, you'll need to alert your director that a budget request will be coming, and soon. It can make disaster recovery more complicated, since now things are more complicated than just restoring some files. Factor that into your plans. It can mean file-based tools won't work, or won't work the same way. How that might impact you depends on the tools you use, or might want to use. Personally, I find SharePoint is overrated in many cases (a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist), but it does have its uses. It can be used as a basic revision control system, for example. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
