Do I list every technology I ever touched? definitely not. If an employer is looking at upgrading up from the DOS6.0 workstations, then I really don't want the job. To me, that means they don't spend on their technology.. I like to provide details on my current positions, why I did so well at them... etc. If I worked on a number of relevant projects with an employer, I am not going to cut myself short and not detail them. "This guy worked 4 years at this employer and only did one project? Must sit on his hands.. "
IMHO, I avoid fancy formats (PDF, SWF, etc.) unless requested. I had this great idea, send out mini-cd's with my resume and portfolio to hiring managers. Hey if my resume is nice, a short video of me = even better!. Until one recruiter said, what if they don't have a player that supports that format there? You going to send a laptop also?
