Do I list every technology I ever touched? definitely not. If an employer is
looking at upgrading up from the DOS6.0 workstations, then I really don't
want the job. To me, that means they don't spend on their technology.. I
like to provide details on my current positions, why I did so well at
them... etc. If I worked on a number of relevant projects with an employer,
I am not going to cut myself short and not detail them. "This guy worked 4
years at this employer and only did one project? Must sit on his hands.. "

IMHO, I avoid fancy formats (PDF, SWF, etc.) unless requested. I had this
great idea, send out mini-cd's with my resume and portfolio to hiring
managers. Hey if my resume is nice, a short video of me = even better!.
Until one recruiter said, what if they don't have a player that supports
that format there? You going to send a laptop also?
