PuTTY can run from a network share, without installation. Ditto the SumatraPDF reader. That's what I use on the server for those rare occasions when I'm on the server console and need to reference some mfg docs. Our "NETBIN" share is full of stand-alone utilities like that. Update them in once place and you're done. I wish more software was like that. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
