This article says "Microsoft Visual Studio(r) 2008 - The software is required _before_ you can proceed to Step 1". Step 1 is at the very top. Taken literally (you know, like computers do) it would indicate you need to install VS 2008 before installing .NET 3.5. but VS 2008 REQUIRES .NET. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/adfs2-federation-wif-application-step-by-step-guide(WS.10).aspx
Looking at it the steps should be 1. VS 2008 2. .NET 3. ADFS 2.0 (actually scratch #2 because .NET will be installed automatically) 4. WIF SDK Maybe I should not work on just 2 hours of sleep, but it cracks me up when the sequence isn't really the sequence.
