We are investigating a VoIP solution to connect our remote offices over our existing IP network. Asterisk looks promising and seems to be well supported by the OSS community. I know there are companies out there that will sell me a name brand solution but we want to keep the cost down as much as possible. Anyone out there using VoIP and Open Source Software? What have been your experiences, pros and cons? What kind of phones are you using? Any information would be helpful.
