I don't even install the SNP packs on my G5's just not worth the hassle
with all the problems, disable the IP chimney and be done with it.

Sorry I don't recall your previous troubleshooting, but have you updated
to the latest driver + firmware?  I thought I recall HP saying the
latest Broadcom driver and firmware resolved this issue.

 

With my DL380G5's, I have  used this:

I am still having a slew of issues on an HP DL380 G5 and PSS hasn't even
mentioned or looked at the settings for SNP but my problem is
identifiable by http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938486. I don't have any
options enabled on my teamed Broadcom nics in the HP app, but the reg
entries are all enabled.

 

What are your practices for disabling the SNP features on these
machines, HP app only or reg entries as well? I made the reg changes and
rebooted so I guess I will see if its cured...
