  Windows has support for MTP out-of-the-box, though.  At least, none
of the MTP cameras I've plugged into Windows needed anything special.
The Blackberry "something fancier" mode also does more than just MTP.
Things like tethering and device management also get presented as USB
devices.  That said, MTP may well be in there, too.
