Thanks much Michall and Rod. I am looking forward for this. And yes I am a big fan of flexera also.

I think that's very cool. The old package/program metaphor is still present; but the application model is a significant improvement. That being said, you still need decent tools, in my opinion, to build your deployment packages (i.e., the MSI files). I don't think the free ones cut it. CM2012 really enhances it quite a bit, in that it makes it tons easier. Plus, you have the new app catalog where users can request their own software. You simply make it available to the catalog once, and it's available to anyone (pending approvals, of course). In general terms how solid is the application deployment? Is it pretty good at taking offbrand software packaging it and then doing targeted deployements? Or perhaps publishing for non-admin users to install? From: Michael B. You can get it on Technet and MSDN. This includes Operations Manager, Configuration Manager, Service Manager, Data Protection Manager, Orchestrator, App Controller, and Virtual Machine Manager. I just finished teaching my first intensive course on SCCM 2012 last week and started teaching my first intensive course on SCOM 2012 today. Fun stuff! Regards, Michael B.
