  GEOS even made it to IBM-PC land.  I ran PC/GEOS for years.  GUI,
multi-tasking, multi-threading, long file names, continuous session
state preservation, object-oriented... on top of MS-DOS 3.3 on an 8088
with 640 KB of RAM.
