So far the only clearly identifiable marker I have found is existance of the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\RebootRequired I was curious if anyone has worked on anything like this before, and would be able to share some insight or ideas/methods.
