"... I absolutely hate having to play SysAdmin at home..." This reminds me of why I finally dumped all my servers and routers at home, and try to stick with virtual labs when the occasion arises. That said I'm certain you do simulations of client environments that I just don't have to do any longer that requires hardware to manipulate. Some days I miss the sounds of all those fans, but I don't miss the utility bill that went along with them. :)
