  I can see the appeal for a large org.

  While it's not suitable for broad discovery, on a case-by-case
basis, LUA Bug Light does a great job at identifying files, folders,
registry keys, and so on that an application is trying to access.
Useful for then opening up *just* those objects to all users.  And you
can't beat the price.  ;-)
