Tripp-Lite makes good power strips as well. We have one of their 20 amp strips on one of our server racks. Plugged into an APC UPS, as it happens. They seem to get along okay... ;) I do like the interactive LCD front panel APC is putting on all their Smart-UPS units these days. Tripp-Lite's UPSes all seem to have horrible front panels. Feels like you're lucky you get a power button. APC is also using actual battery cartridges now, not just the OEM battery with a sticker over the OEM label. Plastic or metal carriers, with sockets that plug in as you load the tray. Makes changing batteries a lot easier. Justifies the price premium for the APC-branded replacements now. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
