Agree with that, I think this is mainly about systems management as has already 
been stated. Dell have OpenManage, but unless you're using purely Dell kit its 
not really much use for managing a diverse environment.

For the virtual desktop market, several (maybe many) of us think this is the 
death blow to vWorkspace (now called Desktop Virtualization).  Someone counted 
228 products on Quest's product page.  In the Quest press release announcing 
this Dell deal, there was no mention of any of their desktop virtualization 
products.

It looks to be a good deal for Quest shareholders.
