That's the problem, I don't know HOW to put data into the contact tab location
field. If I knew how to do that, I'd be set... but maybe that query will help
me out, it cant be THAT out of wack between the property name and what Outlook
contact tab calls Location.

Thanks that gives me a place to start at minimum.

I don't know the answer off the top of my head, but it is easy to figure out.

Put two different values in the relevant fields.

On a DC, enter:

                Dsquery * domainroot -filter samaccountname=<whatever> -attr *

And examine the attributes.

Outlook 2010's contact tab (open an e-mail, double click on the sender's name)
has a location field. If you click on "TO" to add someone from the GAL, it also
has a location field, but it's not the same data as the contact tab.

The GAL looks to be is getting the data from "physicalDeliveryOfficeName", but
where would the Outlook contact tab gets its data from?
